Get The Right TV for your New Gaming Console

When looking for that perfect TV for your new system, you should be looking for:

• HDR — Ray Tracing and HDR are key features on the new consoles, so a bright TV is a must. HDR, short form of high-dynamic range, is a massive range of colours, which appear brighter and in greater contrast. It is great for dark scenes in games. For ideal gaming you want a TV that puts out at least 600 nits (a nit is a term for brightness, with one nit being equivalent to the amount of light one candle would produce across a square metre). For comparison purposes, a TV produced before the advent of HDR was likely putting out 100 to 300 nits.
